Maybe I like it so much because it starts with a snowman in the yard where Pussycat notices a tree being taken into the house. . . .
Pussycat could tell Christmas was coming because of all the preparations going on. . . .
She could also tell when more snow was coming. . . .
And would beg to go out in it. . . .
So she could play. . . .
"Then the wind rattled the black branches....it was time for Pussycat to go into the house."
"Pussycat meowed at her windowpane. And she heard footsteps coming to let her in."
When she got inside look what she found. . . .
The tree had been decorated with lovely playthings . . . .
"Over the silence of the frozen snow---in the silence of the frozen snow---in the silence of the moonlight---in the silence of the night---in the silence of the bright starts high in the sky: π΅Silent Night, Holy Night, All is calm, All is brightπ΅....And as the little Pussycat purred and purred by the fire, she heard in the distance the music fading far down the road."
Until we meet again,
